Happy New Year to everyone!
I took a few weeks off to be with my family and enjoy our winter break. After being so ill last summer with migraines, I have learned that I really have to take care of my health and reduce stress, especially during more chaotic times such as the holidays. It was so nice to be disconnected from my computer and enjoy time with my kids. We spent time doing puzzles, playing games, going for walks, and even got away for our annual after Christmas Vacation to Palm Springs.
I love the feeling of the New Year. Although I do not do resolutions, it always feels so good to re-evaluate and create a picture of what I want to manifest in my life. It’s almost like a wave crashing down and a new one rolling in. I am going to take a ride on that energy and for me personally this year is going to be about “Letting Go.” I want to clean up a few areas of my life that have become messy, from my closets to my diet. Instead of saying get rid of, I like the idea of letting go instead. It’s not a negative thing to let go of things, situations, and people that aren’t a priority. It’s not saying goodbye. It’s allowing space for new opportunities to manifest in our lives. Freeing space in your life and mind can be very empowering and with my chronic migraine disease and all that goes with that, power is what I need right now more than ever.
I truly hope and pray that whatever you desire for the new year transcends in your life as well. May 2017 be full of joy and peace for all of us.
I wanted to share my top posts for 2016 with you. You may have already read them or perhaps you are new to this site, either way, I hope you enjoy.
