Ahh Christmas. It’s a love-hate relationship for certain. I love the music, decorations, sparkling lights, the excitement in the kids. I hate the amount of work it is for parents, the constant and never ending to-do lists and the gift giving can sometimes give me the “yuck” factor. After all, Christmas is about loving kindness and being thoughtful. I do enjoy surprising someone with a very thoughtful and maybe unexpected gift though– especially my loyal and kind running friends.
There are some years you just don’t get your act together when it comes to gift giving and others you are done by Thanksgiving. I generally fall into the last minute gift giver category. This year is no exception. There is just so much to do before my kids get out of school and when they do, I am determined to not be rushing around and being busy. I want to fully enjoy this time with them and do what we love to do over Christmas break– play board games, do random acts of kindness, make cookies for neighbors and just be together! We all need that so badly!
Today I’ve put together the ultimate gift guide for the runner in your life. There are so many options, so I tried to keep my list unique along with some practical items as well.I’ve done all the shopping and searching for you, so all you need to do is click on the links. I hope you find this list useful.
