When Barlean’s sent me a huge box of products to try, I was so grateful that I got a little teary eyed. That may sound sappy, but their products have changed my life that much. Some of you may know that I suffer from Chronic Migraine disease and Cervical Dystonia. Heavy duty prescription drugs are never an option for me. So when Meghan introduced me to Barlean’s fish oil “To-go” packets at Ragnar and I stayed pain free during that relay, I became a believer. I had been taking fish oil for years, but not a high quality brand and not enough. As a person who is in pain a large portion of my week, I need extra. Taking up 6000 mg. a day is not unusual for me, and even more if I’m having an attack. I am no doctor, but I highly recommend fish oil if you are in any kind of pain, have inflammation or it has even be linked to alleviating depression. Barlean’s has 100% money back guarantee, so there is simply no reason not to give it a shot. Plus, my kids love the Omega Swirls, they’re like a yogurt smoothie. They beg for a spoon full, they even say the Lemon tastes like a Lemon Starburst.
OK, so Barlean’s Omega smoothies are great, but they also have several other products that we have been enjoying as well. They sent me some Coconut oil and Chocolate Silk Greens Powder, and in addition to drinking all of their products in smoothies, I made this sweet and salty cereal mix with them. The possibilites with Barlean’s products are endless, I am looking forward to creating more recipes for my family to enjoy. Cherry Chocolate Cereal Mix made my kids lick their cups, and asked for seconds… this would also be great around the holidays and parties.

Barlean’s sent me product free of charge, but I was in love with their products before hand, and as always, all opinions are my own.
