We all know that race fees, especially marathons can add up. It can be an expensive sport and I think we are all looking for ways to cut costs. However, a marathon is a big deal and personally I like to look just slightly better that day than I do on my training runs, after all it is one of the few times I get my picture taken (although because of this blog I feel like I have taken an unusual amount of photos of myself, eww) But I do like to think about what I will wear, and I know some people really get into dressing up. You need things you can ditch as you warm up and these accessories are inexpensive enough to do just that. How do you look good on race day without spending a fortune? Try some of these accessories…..
These knee high socks can be used as arm warmers, just cut the toe out.. available at Target, these were marked down to $2.50, they are regularly priced at $5.00. Target has a huge assortment to choose from.. even Holiday themed, for insistance, St. Patrick’s day (which I will be wearing for my spring Marathon) btw- for my males readers they have plain knee high socks in the mens department for the same price.
